I have put in the ground work to become a self taught photographer and I have turned it into a full-time business.
I am local to Auburn, AL but willing to travel within the United States. I love a roadtrip! I especially love client requests of family photos on the beach! Wink, wink.
When I am not at a photoshoot or editing galleries, I am writing. Farmstead Shutters is an extension of the vision I have as an author and business owner. It began as Farmstead Stories; a blog where I share the values of living a simple life through homesteading. I capture my story as a wife and homemaker while creating a meaningful online resource for readers.
Outside of being a photographer, I am a wife to Joseph. We love making our life an adventure. Together, we hike trails and enjoy backpack camping. We hunt and fish together and create memories that believe it or not, he has to remind me to photograph! I love to get lost in the moments I have to freely enjoy spending time with him and it never fails that I forget to take pictures despite being a photographer.
